The museum exhibits the cultures of both imperial China and old Owamboland in Southwestern Africa, puts up special theme exhibitions yearly, and records the history of the Finnish Evangelical Lutheran Mission. Kumbukumbu has a wide collection of artefacts  from around the world, collected by missionaries.

Getting here

The museum is within 10 minutes' walk from the South Harbour of Helsinki. From the city centre: tram No. 10 / terminus (Tarkk'ampujankatu stop) or tram No. 3 T/B / Neitsytpolku stop.
