The partner of FELM in Taiwan is the Lutheran Church of Taiwan (LTC). The Church has been independent since 2001. Joint collaboration continues in congregational work and outreach for which FELM provides staff.

FELM provides the Church of Taiwan staff predominantly for congregational work, evangelism and outreach activities in the following locations:

The larger congregations maintain house groups.
FELM supports the work of the Hsinchu Theological Seminary. The Seminary provides the Church in Taiwan with workers who have theological training. In addition, the Seminary provides training for Church leaders in various hubs.
Ministry through radio programmes commenced in Taiwan in 1967. The objective of this work is to bring the Gospel into people’s everyday lives. FELM supports the work of the Hsin Yi radio station that has four Taiwanese staff members.
Drug abuse is a big problem in Taiwan. The Lutheran Church is one of four Christian organisations involved in drug rehabilitation. The Taiwanese government also funds drug rehabilitation programmes.
A drug rehabilitation centre was established in Wufang in 1992. Although this centre is no longer operational, drug rehabilitation programmes of the Lutheran Church of Taiwan have expanded to five centres that employ approximately forty staff members.
