The Finnish Evangelical Lutheran Mission gives funds from its disaster relief fund to help those in crisis. Sudden and unexpected crisis can be caused by natural catastrophes or wars. Disaster relief is delivered quickly to those who need it the most. The aid often continues from disaster relief to rebuilding. The partners of the Finnish Evangelical Lutheran Mission supply the aid reliably to the target.
Disaster relief is given regardless of the ethnic background, religion, or nationality of the person in need. The disaster aid ensures that the people affected by the crisis receive sufficient food, accommodation, clean water, and the necessary health care.
Rebuilding helps the community to recover permanently: this includes for example building housing for those who have had to stay in tent accommodation.
Disaster relief is a part of the social justice and diakonia programme of the Finnish Evangelical Lutheran Mission. Support this work by donating to the disaster relief fund.
